Look Out Washington D.C.!

 We are getting close to the end of our journey. Read Chapters 8 & 9 together.

Your diary entry will include parts for both chapter 8 and 9.  Make sure you begin with a reader response starter. Hand in your diary to be looked at it will be given back to you if you need to make any changes.

In this chapter the characters talk about what they packed for their trip to Washington D.C. For your activity in these chapters you need to think of what you would bring if you were to visit Washington D.C.

Instructions to Activity:

1.     Open your diary to the page that starts “If I went to Washington D.C. I would bring…”

2.   Write what you would bring if you were going to Washington D.C.

3.   Make sure you include why you would bring that item

For example, I would bring a camera with me so I could take pictures along the way.
