You are moving right along! Go ahead and read Chapter 4
As
you read, think about what you will write about in your diary. Also as you read
think of a scene that you really enjoy. The scene you think of should be one
you can picture in your mind very well.
When
you are finished reading, write a response in your diary about the chapter.
Make sure you use one of the reader response starters to start your entry. Hand
in your diary to be looked at it will be given back to you if you need to make
any changes.
Directions
for Scene Drawing Activity:
1. Pick up a copy of the scene drawing paper. (a copy of this is attached at the bottom of this page)
2.
Re-read your favorite part of chapter 4 a
few times so you can get a good idea of what it is about and what it might look
like.
3.
Draw a picture of the scene in the open
space using as much detail as you can.
4.
On the space provided write at least 3
sentences describing what the scene is about.
This
picture and description will be shared at the end of the day.
