Look Out Washington D.C.!

You are now ready to move on to Chapter 3!

As you read through the chapter think about the reader response starters. When you finish take out your diary and write a response. Remember to write the chapter number and the date at the top of your entry page. Hand in your diary to be looked at it will be given back to you if you need to make any changes.

As you just read, Ms. Rooney’s class is on their way to Washington D.C.  Often when you travel, you need a passport. For your activity you will get to create your own passport.

Instructions for making your own passport:

1.     Pick up a blank Passport paper on the front table.

2.   Write your name on the line at the bottom

3.   Draw a picture of yourself in the box

4.   Think of somewhere you want to visit and draw a picture in the open space on the page. Write where it is, and 1 sentence of why you want to go there.

These passports will be shared at the end of the day.
